If any car can be described as "beige" it's the Vauxhall Meriva 1.6, It's gotten 3 out of 5 on most review and I can see why now.
It's not slow, but it's not fast either.
It's roomy, but feels cramped.
It's so middle of the road that you can fall asleep while driving it.
Luckily, The rental company have now sold this thing, so I never have to drive it again.
